Mindmanager Pro

I've been using a program from MindJet MindManager Pro for the last month and find that it works well to help me map out the technologies and the connections to other developers and sources. I'm very much of a visual person and laying the connections out on paper or on a computer screen helps me visualize the outcome. It also helps to get my thoughts together for a paper or for a project. I'm in good company here because both Thomas Edison and Leonardo Divinci both used mindmapping techniques. Try them. There are also other sources and programs that you can try. In the past ONR had a program called Graphical Modeling System (GMS) on their website for free. It also works reasonably well.

Mind mapping technology

I've just obtained a copy of Mindmanager pro 8.0 and I'm trying to learn how to use the capabilities that it has. Thomas Edison used mind mapping techniques extensively and many of his charts are in the Gelb Book "Innovate like Edison". I've also used them extensively over the last ten years. My first experience with them was in the form of a Sayer Wheel Analysis for congressional bills. The technique is simple and well worth your time and effort to organize your thoughts and inputs in a visible format that yields more understandable outputs and analysis.
